Just for Today

This post reflects yesterday’s post. If you read yesterday’s post, you may have already done the challenges here.

Without fear or guilt, accept our responsibility in this world for the time energy and resources we have been given. We are stewards of this Earth and of the gifts we have been given. How do we use them to honor God and to love him and others?

Talk to your family or to the person in the mirror and have the serious conversation about how wealthy we are in this generation.

Have the discussion with them about how we are the kings and queens of this world with our hot running water and three meals a day.

And have this serious conversation about being stewards of this Earth of its resources, and it’s people and ask ourselves, how are we doing with the stewardship?

Where are all of my time energy resources and money going? Is this how I want my life to be spent?

Is there anything that we think should be changed?

And then find three things that you identify with your family or yourself or a friend that need to be changed and Implement a strategy of what we personally are going to do to change them.

Implement a Time structure weekly bi-weekly or monthly to work together on the vision, maybe create a Facebook or Twitter page of the steps you are taking to encourage yourself and others.

And watch yourselves grow in stewardship of the time energy and resources we have been given care for this planet and to care for its people.

Comment on the changes you are making. And then comment on the changes that you have made.

I am working at selling everything I have that is not necessary for life and simplifying so that I can more adequately take care of the poor. This is not easy and I estimated it’ll take me at least 6 months but I’m hoping to make progress little by little.

You are treasured. You are loved.
